9-16-21 THOUGHTS

Following are words of SERVANTHOOD, HUMILITY and OUR MINDS taking on THE MIND OF CHRIST!      "So the last shall be first, and the first last."   Matt 20:16

Matt 20:26  "It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant,
Matt 20:27-28   and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; 28  just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Luke 22:27  "For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
John 13:14-15    "If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.  15  "For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you.
Acts 20:35  "In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’"
Rom 14:15   For if because of food your brother is hurt, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.
Rom 15:3    For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME."
Rom 15:5  Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,
1Cor 10:33  just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit but the profit of the many, so that they may be saved.
Eph 5:2  and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
1Pet 2:21  For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
1Pet 4:1  Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

Php 2:4-8    do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. 5  Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6  who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7  but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. 8  Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

My Prayer:
Lord teach us to be servants in your kingdom.  May we imitate your son as we live.  May our minds always be single toward you, for you have told us that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  Help us to seek the profit of others so that many might be saved.  We pray that your name will be magnified as we live.     In Jesus name            Amen
